HPDC Part Extraction Application
This project comprises a FANUC industrial robot equipped with a Schunk gripper for extracting die cast components from a High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) machine. After extraction, the robot safely transfers and places the component onto a conveyor or chute for further processing.
The control system consists of a Mitsubishi FX Series PLC with Ethernet/IP communication, providing seamless integration between the die casting machine, robot, and peripheral automation equipment.
LPDC Part Extraction Application
This project utilizes a FANUC robot with a customized gripper to extract die cast components from a Low Pressure Die Casting (LPDC) machine. The robotic system ensures precise handling and reliable extraction while maintaining production efficiency.
The automation system is controlled using a Mitsubishi FX Series PLC with Ethernet/IP communication. A Schunk Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) is incorporated into the system, enabling automatic gripper changes for handling multiple component variants within the same production setup.
